How to Stop Feeling Tired All Day! Backed by Science
During our stay at this place called Earth, we all have witnessed several stretches of time, where we feel like we are dragging through everything.
Everyone goes through this cycle of occasional tiredness.
it might last for a few hours or maybe for a few days.
And it is very natural.
Our body (including our brain) sometimes doesn’t get enough of things that it needs, thus a mere little slow down is okay.
But this becomes a problem when the body starts those never-ending stretches of tiredness.
As humans, we all have our responsibilities and regular phases of tiredness can cause a lot of problems in our life.
Not only that, these might signify something bigger an issue.
I am no professional, but there are a few things that I learned from a few scientific studies, which can actually drag you out of this rut.
So, here I will talk about a few science-backed strategies to get out of this rut and live your life again.
There is never a shortage of reasons which can bring you the dish of tiredness.
But these have always been some of the most common reasons.
Sleep
You know this already.
Lack of sleep can be devastating for your body.
The most powerful muscle of your loses its charm due to lack of sleep, your brain.
So, what to do?
Take Short Power Nap!
Get out of the idea that naps are for lazy people.
Let me tell you this, the highest performing organization in the world, the Navy Seal, take short naps, to get ready for many of their coming task!
Now, I believe you cannot argue with the benefits of a Proper Nap.
Just 30mins of quick recharge can drastically increase your energy level, and help you function better.
Move It Move It
Now, taking nap works, also, laying on the couch for 39hours a day can do the exact opposite.
We are not made to sit at home or lay on our couch the day. Up until a few 100 years back, we have been working your a$$ off to make our living.
Although things have changed and life got easier but we are still humans, who have evolved to do physical activities.
Now, if you go against the nature of evolution, you will have to take some hits!
The point is to move.
Go out for a walk.
Do some basic exercises based on body movement.
You might not like to “Move it Move it”, but if you are in a rut, then you should consider this.
Go out and get some fresh air. Meet real-world people and have real interaction.
Try it.
Keep Your Stress Level in Check
I have a complete piece where I wrote about how your brain can actually change due to constant overstress.
Now, it is okay to have a little stress in our daily life. That’s what life is. If you wish to do something meaningful in life, you will have to go through episodes of stress.
But, excess of anything is bad.
And the same goes for Stress.
Over stress can cause a lot of health issues, including extreme fatigue and mental fog.
Take a break. And let me remind you one thing since you know this very well.
Stress will change nothing! Only Action will.
So, take control of your stress.
Look, there are a lot of things that can be done, but try starting with these.
Also,
Try and cut your Screen time before bed. At least 30mins before you go to bed. Cellphones are nasty at the emitting blue lights and can mess with your sleep.
So, cut-off screen time, as a whole or at least before bedtime.
I hope, these few will help at least one of you.
And thanks a lot for spending time with my work.
